We had a great weekend of scuba diving in the Chicago area! Where else can you have nice weather, water in the upper 60′s and lower 70′s (remember I said Chicago area) and visibility in that 25 to 35 foot range (again, Chicago area). Seen a couple of Northern’s, Crappies, and the elusive Bluegill….. What I really enjoyed the most was that friends that I have not seen in awhile were coming out of the wood works. The good weather brought out the scuba divers. Had a blast catching up, finding out what they have planned and hear about where they have been. We could not have asked for a better group of people. The weather is going to be good here in the Northwest Indiana and Chicago area. At least for the next couple of months. I am shocked that we are already in the 7th month of this year. So please don’t put off getting into the water. You need to have some fun. Scuba diving is just one of those ways to have fun. If you wait, it will be too cold then….. Mike Shea
