his past weekend we dove in the Straits of Mackinac. It is trips like this that reminds me of how much fun scuba divers are. That and how communal the nature of divers. Where else can you go and have people from around the United States laughing, sharing stories and being best friends? That is what scuba diving does for your social life. We were diving with people from Minnesota, Wisconsin and Germany. Yep, said Germany. Scuba diving brings people together from all walks of life and from around the world. All of us having fun, enjoying the stories of where we have dove. Then the laughs along the way. Scuba diving does that to you. It is a lifestyle that will bring you plenty of fun and memories that you will want to share. Still don’t know why some people think that scuba diving is boring…. Mike Shea
