Scuba Lessons In Chicago Are Underway

Spring is hitting Chicago in a weird way this year. Snow in March is a little crazy if you ask me. Then temperatures reaching as high as 60 degrees. Only in Chicago you will have such a swing. That does not stop scuba divers from hitting the water in the Midwest. Scuba lessons, diving, will be in full swing before we know it.
Everyone has different interests when it comes to scuba diving in Chicago. Midwest scuba divers are a different breed in it of itself. You will find those who love to take their camera on every dive. You never know when you will run into that paddle fish. You will also find one diver or two that is ready to find the next shipwreck in Lake Michigan to be found, even if it is two-hundred feet below the surface. That is not for everyone, but it drives excitement. Twenty-thirteen is the year to take the courses you have been putting off. This could be just a good scuba refresher course to get your 'feet wet' again. Or just maybe this is the year to earn the prestigious certification of Master Scuba Diver or Divemaster. It is yours for the taking. Just go get it! Continuing to dive is the most important thing to do. So do not be intimidated by classes. You do not have to take a class in order to hit the water. Many, if not all, groups welcome divers to come out just to get in the water and blow some bubbles. The group will not charge to just to go scuba diving. Your hard cost would be for equipment if you need anything, the entry fees to the quarry or lake, and your cost of air fills and food. This is typical for any diver. Just send an email to another scuba diver, get on Facebook and search for dive groups or call someone you know that goes scuba diving, today! Hit the water running this year. You can meet some amazing friends by just getting out to go scuba diving. They could be your next dive buddy on your trip to the Cayman Islands or Fiji. Nonetheless, they enjoy the same thing you do, scuba diving. Chicago has many things to do for a group of divers. It could be a Lake Michigan Charter with Windy City DivingHaigh Quarry, or jump in the car and drive to Mermet Springs or Gilboa Quarry. Some will even become adventurous and take a trip to the Straights of Mackinac or Lake Superior Diving. >Scuba lessons in Chicago is the place to be for the season of diving in the Midwest for dive training. There are scheduled dive charters ready to go out on Lake Michigan, divers are ready to hit the local quarry and others that will caravan to a Midwest dive destination to stir up some new scuba adventures. The season is just about to start, so pick your dates, your classes, your destinations and jump in the fun! Butch Zemar www.ScubaButch.com
